THE STORY BEHIND OUR LOGO
MG8 Ohio stands behind the value of family which is why the atmosphere at our company is so inclusive. Joe, our CEO tells us, “Family is everything to me. I decided to name the company after my mother, Maria Giordano.” When we break MG8 down, we see that the “M” stands for Maria, the “G” stands for Giordano, and the 8 stands for all 8 family members.
Joe’s mother battled with MSA (Multiple system atrophy), a rare brain disease, and she, unfortunately, lost the fight 3 months after Joe opened MG8 Ohio in April of 2018. Every morning, Maria would go out and take a new picture of the family’s boathouse and Joe happened to love this particular picture and it gave him the inspiration of making it his own. His mother had the chance of seeing the logo as she was the one who took the original picture which originated in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, and loved it.
